Bruh-Kart: Yee Yee Ahh Racing

This game was made as part of our university course.

Ever wondered what would happen if you mashed up a barely functional physics engine, a kart racer and a rougelike? No? Well we did!

Bruh Kart is a proof of concept kart racer with rougelike elements. While we never did get around to implementing a multi-track cups where your powerups would carry across, we did manage to make a playable demo of the game, with the systems in place.

When deciding on what type of game we wanted to make for one of our last assignments, we couldn't pick what we wanted to do. So instead of thinking about it for longer than 10 minutes, we just decided to slap all the ideas we had together and called it a game. We also decided to develop this game in Unity (this was before the 2023 runtime fee announcement)

This game was developed in a team.
Miyabi was in charge of the git repository. Switching to unity made managing this easier, but there were merge conflicts that needed resolving nonetheless.
They also worked on a track creation tool, which was eventually scrapped due to scaling and time issues.
